Who we are

Zaga Studio is made by Zaga Inc ("we"). Contact: support@kivuly.zaga.social.

The app

Your projects, scripts, voices and videos are stored on your own computer. Rendering happens on your machine.

Some features send data to third parties only when you use them: AI scripting sends your prompt and script to Anthropic (Claude); some voices send text to a speech service; publishing sends your video to YouTube with your permission.

Crash and performance reports

In the released Zaga Studio, crash and performance reports are off by default. You can turn them on in Settings → Privacy → "Send crash and performance reports", and turn them off again at any time.

When they are on, Zaga sends only:

  • app errors, with their technical stack traces;
  • whether a session ended in a crash;
  • the app version;
  • performance timings.

It never sends your projects, scripts, prompts, captions, titles, media, file names or personal files. Mac user names in file paths are replaced with "~" before anything leaves your computer.

Reports go to Sentrinel (sentrinel.dev), our error-monitoring service, over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. The key that sends them is stored in your Mac's Keychain, never in the app's files.

Internal development builds of Zaga capture more detail for debugging; those builds are not the released app.
